In my new series "The Forces Between," I use materials to craft a narrative, turning them into metaphors for life's changing tapestry. From steel's strength to the grace of leather lace, I explore the swings of control gained and lost. Textiles transform flat substances into dynamic, three-dimensional pieces that challenge rigidity, inviting viewers to walk around, offering diverse perspectives, and subtly activating awareness in the crafted environment.

Made from woven, & hand-dyed leather, brass, wood and mercerized cotton. Shown at my solo show "The Forces Between”at Salon Design Gallery, NYC. November 2023.

Mounted on a brass fixture, the tapestry appears to effortlessly float against the wall, adding an enchanting dimension to the space. The interplay of light and shadow dances upon its undulating surface, casting a spellbinding allure that evolves throughout the day.
